Bella Falconi - Brazilian, model, shoe addict, fashionista and one of the loveliest people I have "met" online.

When it comes to fitness and healthy eating she is disciplined and works really hard.  I have a lot of respect for that!

So, just how did I meet Bella?  Well, I'll give you 1 guess.... yes, Instagram!  I can't actually remember who found who but we found each other and after trawling through each others pics and commenting we started to talk (a lot)!!!!

Now, if you are anything like me you get yourself to the gym, try to eat the right things but don't always have the drive and determination, so that's when I wanted to ask Bella's advice!

How do you stay in shape? 
To keep my body in shape, I try to always keep my mind in shape. I strongly believe that our mind is responsible for all the results you see in our body. If you think you cannot be in shape, you will definitely not be. In order to start loving exercises and workouts, there is a process everybody must go through, until you see results you'll probably not die for it. But you have to be patient. That's when our mind act.... And obviously we are what we eat.

When do you exercise? 

5 days a week, at least 1.5 hours a day.

What are your top 6 fitness tips?

1) Wake up early - morning workouts are the best, you will probably see more results as your metabolism is more accelerated in the morning.
2) Eat every 3 hours - but eat healthy! Never go to the supermarket when you are hungry.
3) Take "carb free" protein shakes after you work out. It will feed your muscles.
4) Don't think of a diet as "I'm not allowed to eat this or that" - indulge yourself with a chocolate on the weekend.
5) Lots of cardio shall never be enough. The more you do it, the more results you will see. At least 30 mins a day - 5 days a week.
6) Drink a LOT of water!!!!!!!!

What are your 7 healthy eating tips?

1) Replace fried with grilled.
2) Replace artificial juices with the natural ones.
3) Don't eat carbs at night (after 6 pm)
4) Steak is good but it also has more fat in it, try having more chicken or fish instead of red meat.
5) Take your diet serious during the week-days. On the weekends, allow yourself to sin.
6) Salad is awesome, but if you add certain types of dressing, it will be the same as eating a hamburger!!!!!! Try adding vineger and oil, only.
7) As mentioned before it is very important to eat healthy every 3 hours.

What is your favourite sport?

Workouts for sure!

I know you like social media and to be online, what is your favourite app / place to hang out online right now and why?

Instagram is one of my fav apps. I find it fabulous to be connected to people from all over the world, some of them you might never meet in person but you are still connected to them somehow. It's like an open window where you are able to see people's lives and share yours... maybe only the best parts of life. It's fascinating!
Lookbook.nu is my favourite fashion spot!!!! Love seeing people's style, it really inspires me!

What is your all time favourite fancy dress costume?

Wonder Woman!!!!!!!!!

Who is your favourite designer?

I have more than one fav designer, but it is fair to name the first that came to my mind - Marc Jacobs!

Favourite piece of clothing / accessory?

True Religion jean shorts, this is for sure my fav piece of clothing! As far as accessories I don't leave my house without my watch... I'm currently in love with my Michael Kors model 5438.

Worst fashion mistake? 

Lady Gaga is the worst fashion mistake the world has ever experienced. She's a good singer, but when it comes to style.... she's a big mistake.

What is 1 item of make up you could not live without?

Blush!!!!!!!! Margin by MAC.

What are turning up at full volume on your iPod right now?

Every teardrop is a waterfall (Swedish House Mafia remix) - makes me think of the best moments I had in Ibiza! Dream Machine (Hotel Costes), Headlines and Marvin's Room (both by Drake).

Name the top 3 things on your 'bucket list'?

1) Take my mom to Europe.
2) Travel to Thailand.
3) Get my Finance degree.

You have a week off of work, what would you do?

Get my car, my hubby and my dogs and drive around the west coast!

Where is the one place in the world you most want to visit?

Greece and I had the pleasure of visiting it this year.  Thailand is definitely on my list!

What inspires you right now?

The life that I projected of having in a few years and all my plans. What inspires me of doing what has to be done in the present, are the goals I've set to my future.
